This blog serves as a future checklist for Saad and Zainab to collect all the little things we liked in homes we lived in so that one day we can redo them in our own home.
- mirror right infront of the shower— not for reasons you are currently thinking of— a mirror infront of the shower is really helpful for trimming your beard— while all the trimmings fall into the shower— this way Zainab doesn’t have to cleanup later.
- A couch that turns into a full bed— great for seating the entire family comfortably— also helps if the couch is huge.
- A huge chopping board bar and cutting table in the kitchen— while the cook prepares the people eating can just enjoy— sort of like the Japanese chefs live cooking situation.
- Always buy very small pots and pans-- this forces us to cook lesser quantities which is healthier for the family.
